Mindfulness is a ‘fully-conscious’ state of living that enables us to relate to our experiences with higher clarity. It involves being acutely aware of our thoughts, emotions, and why we do what we do. It means being aware, paying close attention to what is happening in the ‘here-and-now’, instead of focusing on our past memories or future predictions.

 

Today, mindfulness is addressed to help us to be grounded in the ‘fight-flight’ moments in our current society. It helps to develop our ability to overcome unfavorable emotions, limiting thought patterns and unhelpful attitudes and habits.

I offer individual coaching and group classes virtually and in-person. All classes and programs offered are crafted to suit different age groups, your understandings, and your needs.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION COURSES

Mindfulness is a particular way of paying attention. It means employing a non-judgmental attitude moment-to-moment awareness. We cultivate it by being present with our experience; the pleasant, unpleasant, and neutral experiences. It is simple but not easy as we habitually find ourselves judging just about everything. If we try to suspend our judgment, it will not last while this is already slipping off into being judgmental without even being aware of it. 

 

Often we get caught up with the busyness of today's societal demands risking being in ignorance that can cloud our lives. We may forget who we are, lose touch with ourselves, lose touch with our hearts, and we may eventually lose our ways in the journey of life.

 

These courses are meticulously crafted for you to learn and cultivate mindfulness meditation with openness, kind awareness, and compassion. How to embody the mind, body, and spirit to stay connected with yourself. You'll learn to meditate to develop mindfulness, composure and clear awareness.

MINDFULNESS FOR BEGINNERS (MFB)

This beginners class aims to provide you with an overview of everything you need to start your mindfulness and meditation practice.

In this course, you will learn about the fundamentals of Mindfulness  Meditation and its psychological process, understanding the science and art behind the practice and how to start practicing to stay grounded in these ‘fight-flight’ moments in our current society while incorporating mindfulness in your everyday life.

I will gently take you on a breakthrough to self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-compassion with guided meditations. This is a journey to self-discovery and you will also design your own self-care plan.

EMBRACING LIFE'S CHALLENGES (ELC)

Life throws us many surprises; whether it’s a relationship, career, family, finances, health, personal development or anything important to you. While we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can control how we respond and relate to them. 

 

In this course, I’ll take you through an exploration of thoughts and feelings along with guided meditation to assist your learning and understanding of personal growth. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-compassion and discover how to exert your power of choice over whatever life throws at you. 

 

Over the four weeks, we are going to be engaging in a deep and yet gentle and appreciative, practice into the moment-to-moment of nonjudgmental awareness and acceptance. An opportunity to be in touch with yourself to explore the power of choice over whatever life throws at you. 

 

As the title of this course suggests, my hope is to provide you with the foundations to cultivating mindfulness whether informally or formally in your life. This course and the effort you put into it in the form of ongoing practice will expose you to greater intimacy with yourself;

your mind, body, and heart and the willingness to embrace life’s many surprises.

 

This course is the perfect continuation for those who have attended the MFB Introductory Course and those who have started their own mindfulness meditation practice and wish to dive deeper.
